Pillow Block Bearing Applications:
The UCP204-12 3/4" pillow block bearing unit is equipped with two
specially designed setscrews positioned in the inner ring of the
ball bearing to lock onto the shaft. The pillow block set screws
are placed at a 90-degree angle to optimize balance between holding
power and inner ring distortion. The UCP204-12 3/4" pillow block
bearings are relubricatable and offer a full-width inner ring for
added stability.
The UCP204-12 pillow block bearing also features a
positive-contact, three-piece, fiber-imbedded R-seal to protect
against harmful contaminants and retain lubricant. The setscrew
locking mechanism on the pillow block bearing is easy to install
and well suited for reversing applications and normal loads
1. Bearing has two rows of balls and a Globoidal raceway in the
outer ring.
2. Therefore,the bearing can be automatically aligned and can
withstand the angle error between the shaft and the bearing seat.It
is especially suitable for the cases where axle deflection and
misalignment are prone to occur.
3. In addition,the friction of self-aligning ball bearings is the
lowest among all rolling bearings, making it have only a small
temperature rise even at high speed.
4. The track surface of the outer wheel of the self-aligning ball
bearing is spherical, and the inner wheel and the steel ball can
incline freely to the outer wheel.
